I have really been enjoying this awesome weather we've been having, and along with the crisp cool air comes outrageous blue skies. I thought it would be perfect for a little HDR and so here's a nice one from this morning...
For those of you keeping track, the second assignment went up last night for the contest at BluDomain. The word was SILLY and boy the shots sure are! Go check them out at Blu's Blog. Tonight's word is MESSY and I have something fun planned!
I somehow completely forgot about my butterfly shots from a couple of weeks ago! So, here's my favorite one. I spent a bit of time following this little guy around as he fluttered from one branch to the next. I have two of these butterfly bushes and they were covered with monarchs and these guys. Anyone know what he is? I haven't a clue, but he sure was pretty. 
In other news, I entered my first submission for this weeks BluDomain contest. The word of the day was Indulgence. I had tons of fun creating my image, go to Blu's Blog to check it out! I am super impressed with the other photographers. I am really quite amazed at how different each of our images turned out. I'm so excited to see the rest of the week's shots!
I suppose it is about time that I officially introduced you to my online shop Castle Curiosities! I started it primarily to feature my Mini Studio Frames that are wonderful for featuring a collection of photos. The product mix has grown slightly to include some really cool magnets that feature the art of Andy Nortnik, some interesting "word art" and my ever growing collection of gift tags. I have lots of other items in the works that will be added in the weeks and months to come. Photo greeting cards, postcard packs, more handmade crafty sorts of items, photo decor, and perhaps even some candles...hmmm. Keep checking here for the latest updates. Eventually, I'm sure I will create a separate blog for Castle Curiosities, but for now, here will do!
